Discover your guide to the official Black Friday start times for your favorite retailers. Get ready to make your holiday shopping plans!

Following the trend from last year, 2021 Black Friday sales are starting well before Turkey Day. In addition to offering pre-Black Friday sales in early November, top retailers are splitting up their Black Friday sales into multiple events.

It’s a lot to keep track of, so we’re here to help. Check out this calendar to find out when you can start shopping Black Friday deals from major merchants, both online and in stores.

Black Friday 2021 sales calendar

Black Friday 2021 is bringing us online and in-store sales from popular retailers that span the entire month of November. In fact, you’ll notice that new sales are launching every few days.

Note that many of these earlier events may not offer all of a retailer's Black Friday deals. Also, some retailers won’t bring out their best bargains until Thanksgiving week.

The dates below are “start” dates for each sale. Some events run multiple days.

NOV. 3

  • 7 p.m. ET: Walmart Black Friday Deals for Days event 1 starts online only. Walmart+ members have early access from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET.

NOV. 5

  • 5 a.m. local time: Walmart Black Friday Deals for Days event 1 starts in stores.

NOV. 10

  • 7 p.m. ET: Walmart Black Friday Deals for Days event 2 starts online only. Walmart+ members have early access from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET.

NOV. 12

  • 5 a.m. local time: Walmart Black Friday Deals for Days event 2 starts in stores.

NOV. 19

  • Best Buy Black Friday deals begin.

NOV. 23

  • Macy’s Black Friday deals available online, in stores and on the app.

NOV. 25

  • Sam’s Club Black Friday sale begins online.

NOV. 26

  • Sam’s Club Black Friday sale begins in stores.

Best Buy Black Friday start time

Even though Black Friday is technically on Nov. 26, Best Buy will be kicking off its Black Friday deals a little bit earlier. In fact, you can start shopping on Nov. 19. You’ll discover thousands of incredible deals on some of the most popular tech products of the year.

Macy's Black Friday start time

As always, Macy’s is hosting several pre-Black Friday sales to get us excited about the big event. This year, you can officially start shopping the Macy’s Black Friday deals online, in stores and on the app on Nov. 23.

You’ll find deals on everything from KitchenAid appliances and cozy bedding to designer clothing and handbags from your favorite brands.

Sam's Club Black Friday start time

Like last year, Sam's Club is calling its Black Friday weekend sale the Thanks-Savings event. It runs Nov. 25 to 28. Keep in mind that the retailer will be closed on Thanksgiving, so you’ll have to shop online that day. You'll find TVs, robotic vacuums, toys, kitchen appliances and more marked down.

Walmart Black Friday start time

Walmart is hosting three Black Friday Deals for Days events in November.

  • Event 1: Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. ET (online only) and Nov. 5 at 5 a.m. local time (in stores)
  • Event 2: Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. ET (online only) and Nov. 12 at 5 a.m. local time (in stores)
  • Event 3: Not announced yet

You’ll find that a variety of deals launch at different times online and in stores. As for what you can find, expect to see deals on electronics, TVs, home goods, apparel and toys.
