Target has revealed the dates of its 2022 Black Friday sale and peek at the deals that will be on offer.

Get your shopping list ready. Target's official Black Friday sale kicks off this Sunday, Nov. 20. On Nov. 17, Target shared in a press release its Black Friday sale dates along with some deal details. While Target has been hosting pre-Black Friday sales throughout the month of November, this Black Friday sale will take things to the next level.

In Target's press release, Christina Hennington, executive vice president and chief growth officer at Target, shared that this will be Target's biggest Black Friday sale ever. Something everyone wants to hear in the age of inflation. "We know our guests are looking forward to Black Friday for big savings across all of their holiday needs, and we’re planning to deliver for them with our biggest Black Friday sale ever."

When is Target's Black Friday sale 2022?

Target's Black Friday sale starts on Nov. 20 and runs through to Nov. 26. This sale takes place in-store and online, apart from Thanksgiving Day, when Target stores will be closed, and you can shop online only. On Black Friday, most Target stores will open at 7 a.m. local time.

The savings won't stop there. Target is also running a two-day Cyber Event on Nov. 27 and 28. This sale will be exclusively on the Target website and the app.

Target's holiday price matching policy

If you have purchased something at Target during one of its pre-Black Friday sales and you see it available at Target for a lower price during Black Friday, never fear. Target's amazing holiday price matching policy allows you to request a price match on items you purchased after Oct. 6, until Dec. 24.

That means, for example, if you purchased a LEGO set for 20% off at Target on Nov. 1 and you see the exact same LEGO set available at Target for 30% off on Dec. 1, you can request a price match. Check out Target's price match guide for more information.
