As the nation's largest book retailer, Barnes & Noble has been a dominant force in the publishing world since the late 1870s. Selling online and through its Barnes & Noble Bookseller locations, the company offers millions of products: books and magazines in all genres, music, DVDs, video games, toys, select electronics, carrying cases, tote bags, tools, gadgets, and e-books are just some of the items available for purchase. In 2009 Barnes & Noble introduced the Nook, an electronic reading device that is able to download and store e-books. Gift cards in numerous denominations are also available. Prices are reasonable and competitive. Daily deals and a sale section are also available for even lower prices.
